About Benzon Research

Benzon Research was established in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1993. Gary L. Benzon, the owner and research director, holds a Ph.D. in Entomology with specialization in medical entomology from North Carolina State University, and B.S. and M.S. degrees in Entomology and Applied Ecology from the University of Delaware. Prior to 1993, he held industry and government positions working with mosquitoes, forest pests, indoor/urban pests, and application technology. He is a member of the Entomological Society of America, Society of Invertebrate Pathology, American Mosquito Control Association, and the Mid-Atlantic Region Society of Quality Assurance.

Chad Finkenbinder started with Benzon Research as a student intern. Since obtaining his B.S. in Geoenvironmental Science from Shippensburg University, he became a full-time staff member responsible for running bioassays and assisting in other research.
