Additional Information:
Navel orangeworm are not cannibalistic unless environmentally stressed. Larvae bore through diet vigorously. Ensure larval containers are strong enough to contain through development! Pupae develop somewhat asynchronously - adult emergence timing varies as a result. This colony originated with the USDA San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Sciences Center in Parlier, CA.
